Foundation Class

It’s finally time to sort through the sea of nutrition confusion. Choosing the right foods is truly the foundation to building and sustaining your health, wellness and weight loss. Begin your journey with our Foundation class taught by licensed dietitian and certified diabetes educator, Donna Webb. In this group medical nutrition therapy class you’ll discover the science behind how the body is supposed to work, and how our food choices can either support or weaken the body.

Four weekly, one-hour class sessions cover the following:

Connection

Discover the connections between chronic inflammation, disease, and low quality, processed food.

Identification

Identify and eliminate processed, pro-inflammatory foods.

Science

Learn the science behind how food drives us away from a healthy metabolism

Lab Values

Be able to tell what our lab values say about our metabolism and how food plays a part.

In a nutshell:  what to eat, what not to eat, how much to eat, why sugar is worse for us than we thought, and why fat is not as bad for us as we thought.

"I have been judged all of my life due to my size and I have never met anyone
who believes that I'm not a compulsive, secret eater. Donna has made me see and
learn that there is hope of being a normal weight and to regain my health. So when
people ask me why I still see a nutritionist, this is why... she talks me back into sanity
and keeps me from going too far."
